Table lamps

Just wanted to clear up some confusion about the Daily Style section of this website: no one pays me to feature products or link to things here. That's not how this works. And when I feature collections like this one I'm not being paid by any manufacturer or corporation to insert their products into the list, and in fact I'm not even encouraging you to buy anything. I just have a lot of fun seeking out different objects and am inspired by color, texture, and shape. I see this as a way of collecting scraps of inspiration that I can come back to later when I'm rearranging a room or designing a masthead. You can trust that these are all things I have personally sought out and find beautiful.

In my dream house I imagine a room dedicated to table lamps, hundreds of them lining the walls and windows, all shapes and sizes. The ones featured here are especially like genie bottles, tempting me with their shapes to reach out and run my fingers along their edges.
