Leta's baby quilt

I was straightening up a storage closet this weekend when I realized, holy crap, I own a lot of quilts. In fact, I own so many I guess you could say that I collect them, so this week I'm going to feature some of my favorites here in the style section. This was the one Jon's mother Della hand-quilted for Leta when she was born. She asked what the colors in her nursery were going to be, I said pink and green, and this is the beautiful piece that she designed. I'm making Leta treat this with the utmost respect because I want her to be able to pass this along to her own children should she choose to have any. If she chooses not to, well then, I can always leave my life savings to the goldfish.
