Commemorative plate

A few years ago I took a road trip to Moab with Maggie and Heather, and then a few months ago when Maggie and Melissa were out hunting for treasure in various antique shops in Michigan they found this plate. On the back there is a piece of tape with this written on it: "Went to Arizona to see Mac Settle. Aug 1959. Took Bert and Danny and Carolyn home." It reminded Maggie of the trip we took so she and Melissa sent it to me, and when I opened it I cried. Because there was dust in my eyes.

We're going to put up some of our photographs on one giant wall in the living room, and right in the middle of all the frames I'm going to hang up this plate. To give it a little sparkle.
