Basting brush

A few Christmases ago I bought Jon, the chef in this relationship, several new cooking utensils to make the act of cooking a tiny bit more pleasurable. Up until that point in our marriage we were still using the pots and pans and equipment that I had collected as hand-me-downs in college, and it was all in pretty scary condition. I found this silicone basting brush at the local Sur La Table (I couldn't find it on their website, but I did find it on Amazon), along with some matching bowls and spatulas that I'll post sometime in the future. Orange is one of his favorite colors, or at least I think it is because whenever we go clothes shopping he heads straight for the orange shirts, so I like to think that this is one of the ways I could show him, hey you, I'm paying attention.

Heather talks about overcoming depression on today's Momversation.

  • Leta: "STOP FOLLOWING ME, COCO!" I wonder where she picked up that exclamation.
  • Me: "Hey Marlo, here's a vibrantly colored, squeaky toy made specifically for your age group!" Marlo: "Got any knives?"
  • @makeandtakes my pleasure! Had a great time with you guys!
