Capiz shell plate

This is another gift from Jon for Christmas, hand-made plates made out of shells in my favorite shade of green. I have several dishes like this scattered throughout the house (on the table beside the front door, next to my bed, etc.) that I use as a place to throw my keys or extra hair bands or spare change. Jon found them at ZGallerie where he also bought many of my other Christmas gifts (including the similarly colored travel jewelry case, but I can only find it in white and brown on their website). Does it bother me that I know he only spent $4 on these plates? Not even. It makes me proud that he knows a bargain when he sees one.

Heather talks about overcoming depression on today's Momversation.

  • Leta: "STOP FOLLOWING ME, COCO!" I wonder where she picked up that exclamation.
  • Me: "Hey Marlo, here's a vibrantly colored, squeaky toy made specifically for your age group!" Marlo: "Got any knives?"
  • @makeandtakes my pleasure! Had a great time with you guys!
