Hand-painted porcelain condiment bowls

I picked these up for an absolute steal at an antiques shop in Northern California several months ago, and I keep them on the sill of the window right above our kitchen sink. I use them whenever I need a quick container for something, sometimes to hold a handful of grapes or cherry tomatoes, sometimes if I'm peeling something and need to keep the debris confined. Each bowl is painted with the same fish, but you can see the different, individual brush strokes. Adds a bit of a nostalgic feel (they remind me of my late Granny Hamilton) to an otherwise contemporary kitchen.

  • Hugs and kisses to you, too! RT: @Monkey_Tree: @dooce he probably committed suicide because he was tired of LISTENING TO YOU WHINE.
  • Our fish just died. And I'm sitting here crying. And it wasn't even my fault!
