That story was a good read

When you sign up for the NYC Marathon they send you these orange shoelaces along with a few other pieces of running related gear. Both of my knees are still giving me trouble, and after reading several books about running I think I've decided that I've got to hang up my shoes. I think I'd be in a state of perpetual recovery even if I worked with a trainer to fix my form. Cue the WAH-WAAAAH.

I saw these laces last night and made a makeshift bracelet out of them. An ode. Chuck approves of this decision because he's tired of hearing me whimper when I descend the stairs, although it did inspire some of his more moving poetry.
