Before anyone sends me hatemail about the new masthead (OOPS! TOO LATE!) let me reassure you that no cat was harmed in the making of this website. My father is the one in my family who doesn't like animals, cats in particular, and I remember one story he used to tell about how he and his friends used to pack kittens into cardboard oatmeal boxes and then toss them down a hill to see whose would go the farthest. He would tell me this story at bedtime when I was five.

This masthead was, however, created with the help of these foliage Photoshop brushes by Jason Gaylor. You should check out his whole collection of brush sets. They've changed the way I use Photoshop.

Now if you'll excuse me I need to go take the neighbor's cat out of the microwave.
