santa? is that you? with some just-for-men enhancements?

  • 21. minxlj said:

Yknow, I'm not a 'baby' person, and two of my best friends are having babies in the next 3 months (one is to be my godson!!) - but having read your Leta updates and your archives, I'm now really looking forward to helping with the babies and seeing them develop. I only hope they grow to be as capable and beautiful as Leta :-)

  • 22. amy shuff said:

I just wish we could see a little of that white stuff around here! (Arkansas) Leta is a perfect baby girl and I hope that she and my baby, Will, can be pen- pals when they grow up! Wouldn't that be fun? *hugs*

  • 23. Aussie said:

Is it too late to submit an embarrassing story so the whole of cyberspace can cringe with me?

Try this one on for size: Drunk at an office party. Wearing a strapless top. Talking to a bunch of men who, really, I shouldn't be tipsy in front of, let alone as drunk as I was.

So anyway, I'm talking to them and after 20 minutes happen to glance down. And there's my right breast in all its glory. My top had fallen down at some stage and I didn't feel a thing. NO idea how long it'd been hanging out for all to see, or who saw it. I don't think I've ever been more embarrassed in my life. :o/

  • 24. SharonO said:

What a great picture of the both of you. Jon looks so proud and excited to be with his beautiful wife ... and you, Heather, you look genuinely happy and, dare I say it, even relaxed?! I think this trip was excellent for you both! Thank you for sharing it with us.

  • 25. Kiki said:

    Wow... Love the picture!
But even more I love the monthly newsletter!
You are a great and funny writter, and Leta is the cutest sweetheart :)))

  • 26. Kiki said:

Assie: Oh my! That was, I think every womans nightmare... They did not say anything?

  • 27. hannah said:

Awwww, you two look so cute.
And yet again you have written a lovely newsletter to Leta. I'm another "not a baby person" person. But I still sit here and go "awww" a lot.

  • 28. Mr Bob said:

Ah, that's it! I really really really want to go skiing now! I wonder how much a weekend in the Alps would cost...?

  • 29. Wanda said:

Wow! Leta sure can grow a beard fast! She's getting so tall too!

  • 30. Lushlife said:

    Picture postcard perfect.

  • 31. mrscrumley said:

That is a great picture- good enough for a Christmas card!

Thanks for sharing your lives with us everyday.

  • 32. Wicked H said:

You two look so very happy. Fantastic.

Happy 13 months to Leta. We are all priviledged to be sharing in all your adventures.

    Great picture, as usual.

  • 33. Kristen said:

It almost looks like his lift-tag on his jacket is a microphone & he is interviewing you.
Yeah, I have a vivid imagination.

  • 34. Yamila said:

Nice pic, the snow looks great. The master taking care of his little grasshopper ohhh how sweet!

Aussie: funny story, but I am sure being aussie it was just a laugh and a half. It happens all the time at the beach but well at a party that is scary thing to happen to any girl, and office party even worse.

  • 35. Lung the Younger said:

    Curious photo.

You look normal Heather, but doesn’t Jon look as though he’s had his head pasted onto the photo National Enquirer style?

  • 36. Aussie said:

Kiki: No, no-one said a thing. It was quite strange.

Yamila: No qualms about it happening at the beach, but in front of the seniors at the office was a bit much for me really.

And Dooce: Can I marry you and have your babies in our next lives? You rock, you really do :) Thank you for being so honest, so funny and so. damn. cool!!

  • 37. kgrp said:

a little off topic, but it's late at night here where i am (in LA - okay, well, it's 4 am) and i was wondering if you stay up late -

or if you got up fricking early in the morning to post this picture at 4 am. who gets up so early to put up pictures? is that really you?

wow... i am NOT a morning person. major props to you!

  • 38. the niffer said:

He looks so proud of you!

Happy one year and 1/12 to Leego. Your newsletters to her are so amazing. She's a lucky kid.

  • 39. Sharyn said:

You look awfully happy so I'm guessing this was either pre-frustration, before you'd started, or post-euphoria, after you'd gotten the hang of it. Either way, cute!

  • 40. Sunflowery said:

Beautiful! Just Beautiful! Utah truly looks to have the best skiing in the country.

  • 41. Scott said:

Oh my God. That does it! I am selling everything and moving out West. All I'll bring with me are food, water and a snowboard.

  • 42. southern fried girl said:

Very nice photo. Y'all look so happy. :)

  • 43. bushra said:

the pictures of Leta are brilliant. she looks like she's partaking in muslim prayer in the first picture...

  • 44. Bucky Four-Eyes said:

Aussie, I had something similar happen in high school. I was in a one-piece bathing suit that could not contain my heaving bosom, I guess, and when my friend came to the door, my right one was lookin' him square in the eye.

Of course, in this case, it was a very gay male friend, and he took one look at me and began to giggle, then informed me, "Um, Katy, um, one's, um, hanging out!"

So, at least minimal embarassment on my part, although I think HE was kinda grossed out, in a friendly way.

  • 45. Amanda B. said:

You are up early wittle gwasshoppa. Very adorable picture.

  • 46. Maeby said:

Was he gay BEFORE that incident Bucky? hhhmmm.....

  • 47. spoonleg said:

I WISH I could've seen your heaving busom, Bucky. Dude, you've gotta have it goin' on in the chestal region to bust out of a ONE PIECE IN HIGH SCHOOL. Dayamn.

Awesome pic, makes me wish I had gone skiing this yeah!

Leta is growing up so fast...her new pics are adorable and I have to say, she is starting to look more like a little girl than a baby!

  • 52. part-timer said:

there is nothing i would like better than to be skiing out west with my husband. you two look great.

  • 53. TexaRican said:

    Spoonleg-

Sorostitutes? LOL, you just made me snarf my coffee!

  • 54. Cheryl said:

WOW! WOW! WOW! What a beautiful picture of you guys... now that's a picture Leta can put up in her college dorm room and be like, "Yes, my parents are the coolest EVER."

  • 55. ap said:

Heather - I don't have kids, don't want kids, but I read your (essentially a) love letter to Leta and I actually cried. That was absolutely lovely.

  • 56. Bucky Four-Eyes said:

Oh, dude was gay waaaay before my ta ta ambushed him. Dude used to wear plastic bouffant wigs in kindergarten and in about 2nd grade, wanted to play a game where I was the burglar and he was the lonely housewife. In 2nd fucking grade! So, I don't think we can blame my evil bosom for this one.

Spoon -- my high school heaving bosom was spectacular. I just wasn't smart enough at the time to use it to my advantage. Never knew the power of cleavage until years later!

  • 57. Susannah said:

Look at you two on top of the world up there!

  • 58. Mo said:

awww....you look cute as a snow bunny!

(and that beard really is authoritative!)

  • 59. Lala said:

Am I the only one who cares that you took "the camera" up a hill and let someone else use it? What if something had happened???

  • 60. Bucky Four-Eyes said:

I can never keep it straight what day is what. I know Thursdays are self-portrait day, but which day is Ta-Tas day?
In any case, I've finally broken down and posted my own ta-tas on my blog. Just so you can see why a one-piece couldn't contain me.

  • 61. Mamaramma said:

Such a happy picture of a happy couple, but after all these skiing pics, I feel like you guys must be realy cold - would you like some hot chocolate?

  • 62. Mamaramma said:

B4E - That picture is scandalous.

  • 63. CanadianAmy said:

Yes B4E, very sexy baby you are.

    Cute picture!

This place is great for task evasion.

  • 76. Circus Kelli said:

What a great picture of the two of you! Jon looking all confident and Heather looking like she's not sure about this whole snowboarding thing, but both smiling, in love and having fun.

If I may quote here, “Doesn’t this just make your heart sing?”

  • 77. Susie said:

Oh, Bucky. You had to go there. OK, then what did "SNATCH the pebble from my hand" mean?

  • 78. Sandy said:

Seriously - it looks like you propped Leta up on a stool, strapped a Halloween beard on her, capped it off wtih a ski cap and some goggles, and snapped. I come from a family where all the babies look like us, so it's a marvel to see how much a baby can actually look like the baby daddy.

  • 79. Mrs.Strizzay said:

    You two look really happy.

Although you kinda look like your sore. lol

  • 80. Circus Kelli said:

Wow, I just hope he doesn't ask her if she was fired for her blog, and if she thought that was fair and what she's doing now...

  • 81. Mojo said:

Steal the snowboard from my feet and you will be a true master.

  • 82. LadyBug said:

Awesome picture. You guys look so happy together.

Although, with the goggles on the head, there's more of a FLY vibe than a grasshopper vibe, really.

  • 83. brando said:

You gave up the secret about little girls' tendency to do the humpty dance on the carpet? How. could. you?

  • 84. RazDreams said:

melanie (#66): um, check out the main page today (dooce.com). there's, like, four pix of leta. it's nice to see this lovely photo of heather and jon on here.

  • 85. Katie-be-bored-at-work said:

That picture is awesome, Heather. Jon looks as though he is about to burst from excitement from the sheer joy of standing next to such a beautiful woman, and you just look, well, relaxed! And so happy! Snowboarding does wonders for the soul.

And Leta, precious Leta! What can I say? Her pictures and your beautiful words about your baby just made my morning. I know we have all been bitching and moaning for pictures of the frog, so this was definitely an overdose! I don't know if I can take that much cuteness in one shot! She has really become a beautiful little lady, and she's starting to look more and more like her mama! (Although you can't deny that her daddy is Scrumptious Bearded!)

    Thanks Heather!

Circus Kelli (post 80) - At least he's been to the site before.

  • 87. Pai Mei said:

Was this before or after you taught her the five fingered exploding heart technique, Blurbo-sahn?

  • 88. Kieran said:

Ok enough with the cute snow bunny/winter crap! I want to see pictures of the baby or the dog!

  • 89. RazDreams said:

(does *no one* read the main page here anymore? i know reporters avoid the site, but the daily photo commenters too?)

  • 90. red said:

you guys are cute together....i want to know how tall you are.

  • 91. Katie-be-bored-at-work said:

Why do people seem to be disregarding the main page? There are like five pictures of the frog baby there. I know the comments section is great, but I never miss the main page!

  • 92. Katie-be-bored-at-work said:

I believe she is 5'11", Red. Like me! Tall chicks rock!

  • 93. Jana said:

That is definitely a picture for the mantle.

    Great picture!

  • 94. becaru said:

You two sure are a cute couple. Thx for the new pix of Leta, Dooce. I was in SUCH withdrawal. My husband keeps saying, "But you don't actually KNOW these people!"
    What does he know?

  • 95. erika said:

    Heather B. Armstrong...

Thank you for bringing tears to my eyes on a regular basis. Despite popular opinion, that is a very good thing.

    ...

  • 96. Circus Kelli said:

Chris From Ohio #80 -- Good point. :)

  • 97. Circus Kelli said:

Doh -- make that #86, Chris. Sorry. My eyeballs aren't quite working properly yet this morning. I think one of them is still sleeping.

  • 98. kalki said:

LETA!! You are even more beautiful at a year and one-twelfth than you've ever been before. And your mommy and daddy look so happy. And tomorrow is Chuck Friday. Life is good!

  • 99. Amy S said:

That my dear is a beautiful picture and the place you were at is very scenic. Wish I was there.

  • 100. giggles said:

    Heather,
Thank you for sharing your beautiful newsletter with us. Leta is such a cute and lucky girl!

Today’s picture of you and Jon truly shows your love for each other – it jumps out of the screen how much you are in love!

    Thank you for sharing. :-)

  • 101. stalkergirl said:

You two make such a beautiful couple! I tried skiing once... my knees hurt, but that was the least of my problems. I just couldn't get the balance thing right!

  • 102. viv said:

Leta has my daughter's Zutano bird dress and pink dress/vest thingy! But Lily is just about to grow out of hers at 21 mos. I feel your pain about Leta growing and moving on. Just wait until she gets to be a toddler - ZOOOOOM!

  • 103. laurenbove said:

Damn that's a great shot! Almost makes me feel like going skiing...almost.

  • 104. honestyrain said:

i am so sick with this cold that when i see people doing things that only healthy people would do, like skiing/snowboarding, i think HOW can they DO that when i feel so sick? the whole world feels what i feel when i feel it, don't you know?

yet you look so healthy Heather. I just don't understand.

  • 105. Circus Kelli said:

Honesty #104: That's the way it works in my house. Hubby gets cranky and the kids get more irritable every time I get PMS... weird huh?

  • 106. brittney said:

Regarding the thirteen month newsletter: The last five or six sentences in the last paragraph made me choke up. Twice.

I think it's your honesty that makes your writing so transparent. In the best way, I mean.

  • 107. TulsaOkie said:

Great photo of you two!! Both smiling even!!

And gosh, Dooce, you sure have a way with words. That monthly newsletter is WONDERFUL! Leta's a lucky girl.

So when are you going to have another? Baby that is?

  • 108. Dr. Johnny Fever said:

Will there soon be a newsletter to Chuck's dearly departed anal sacks?

  • 109. Katie-be-bored-at-work said:

Eek! I bet that the last thing Heather is thinking of is another baby already! Can you imagine two Letas so close in age!?! TWO FROGS!?! :-)

  • 110. seannarae said:

i was up at damn near 3 this morning/last night and still no new dooce picture. i simply cannot imaging dooce does her edits an even more ungodly hour. which begs the question:

you using a cron job to do your picture of the day? hmmm?

do tell. scratch my geek itch, dooce.

  • 111. Sarcastic Journalist said:

"Oh my gosh! It's the famous dooce! Can I get a picture?!?"

  • 112. Mrs.Strizzay said:

They are standing in front of lumpy twin peaks.

  • 113. Gooooder said:

    cute!

  • 114. LesleyMW said:

Ack!!! I made it all the way through the newsletter without tearing up until "...my God, slow down. Don’t go so fast. Stay." Damn it! Do you do that on purpose Dooce? (My little guy is 2 and almost a half, I'm shouting that phrase in my head ALL THE TIME!)

  • 115. Katie-be-bored-at-work said:

What the hell is a cron job? Is that like a blow job?

  • 116. becca said:

::laughs:: Oh my God, Heather and Jon are the new Brad and Jen! Baby questions and marriage opinions and all.

  • 117. Katie-be-bored-at-work said:

When my little guy (who will be 4 in May) was 2, and he turned to me and said "I am NOT a baby, I am a BIG BOY!" I wanted to scream the exact same thing - "SLOW DOWN! DON'T GO SO FAST!!!" Now he really is a big boy, and once in a while he will come snuggle into my lap and say "Big hug! I wanna be your baby". Moments like that are worth all the heartache of seeing your little one grow up!!!

  • 118. Bucky Four-Eyes said:

Katie-BBAW: A cron job costs less than a blow job, because, unlike the blow job, it can be automated.

(or, iffen you were serious, it's an event you set up to happen at a certain time on the server)

  • 119. Katie-be-bored-at-work said:

Why, thank you BFE. I actually didn't know what a cron job was, but I had wondered if Dooce was purposely setting up her entry to go out at a certain hour. I just wonder why she chose 3:00 a.m.? For me, it takes away the pleasure of trying to be the first one to post. But, then again, it is instant gratification when I get into work and the entry is already there.

  • 120. Circus Kelli said:

Must. Not. Comment on crossing cron jobs and blow jobs. MUST. NOT.

  • 121. Pissy Britches said:

Ok..which one is the Master and which one is the little grasshopper?

  • 122. Sherri said:

What a great picture -- could Jon BE smiling any bigger?

And the first Leta pic in the newsletter is absolutely adorable. And her teeth! Wow.

  • 123. Jody said:

    She is perfect.

And yes, time moves way too fast. My oldest baby (10) makes jokes that are actually funny now. Jokes or jabs that he delivers with a wry smile from his gorgeous face, and I think, oh man, you are going to rock someones world one day little man!

  • 124. JulieT said:

Crying again. Happy month 13, Leta!!!

  • 125. Jill Ross said:

  • 126. karinka said:

when you show these pictures, it makes me miss utah so much. i love the greatest snow on earth!

  • 127. Gordon said:

Can I just say because of this website that I am now a scarred, yet wiser, man because I actually asked my wife why dogs needs to have their annal sacs cleaned, why do dogs have annal sacs in the first place, do our horses have such an organ, and will they have to be cleaned?

  • 128. The Mighty Jimbo said:

honest to god regualr access to this website is one of the few things i miss about america.

that and veggie tacos from wahoos.

argentine food blows for us hippy, veggie bastards.

i find an internet cafe with veggie tacos i swear i may never leave.

  • 129. Jennifer in Kansas City said:

First let me say that it is obvious Dooce, Inc. has amazing computer systems and technologies at her disposal, and I am certain the Pic o' the Day is now automated by a computer, not Heather & Jon getting up at 3 a.m. to satisfy the Eastern Bloc Doocers' need to BE NUMBER ONE in the comments.
Then, let me say that the 13-month newsletter made me BARK with laughter (Leta, flattened out on the carpet: my god, I have days at work that look EXACTLY like that!) and then my eyes welled with tears at the love you have for your child and the honest way you write about it. We're not having kids, and reading your narratives give me a glimpse of what it's like. I know I'm not alone when I say this: Thank you for sharing your life so honestly & openly. And the pictures are awesome. For instance, I just got excited that tomorrow is Friday? because that means? CHUCK!

  • 130. Cristin said:

Hiya Jimbo! You are missed man!
I have to say I am loving the penguin pics you have up. Oh yeah, and all of the other ones too.

Hope you are having a blast even without the fish tacos!

That kid is sooooo cute! And happy! For no reason! What a joy, eh?

And now she's entered her teens and is learning to hump, bump, and get into all sorts of things that she's not s'pozed ta. You now know the point at which it all started. You may as well work with it now that you know. Tango and salsa lessons, cryptography and lock-picking, make sure she's ready for Prince Coco Shimmy when he shows up.

Happy 13 Leta, what a doll.

  • 134. Peter Hentges said:

Busy, busy at work for me this week means less time to spend with all you fabulous doocelings. I'm stealing a few moments away from well-deserved sleep to plug http://www.selfportraitday.com (which has the great class to feature yours truly today), to awww at the pictures of Leta and accompanying letter on her year and a twelfth and grin nearly as foolishly as the folks in that picture up there at the silliness here in comment-land. Keep up the good works! (And remember, only 20 more comments before the mandatory poop tangent!)

  • 135. Torrie said:

Jimbo, you're a veggie? And I thought it wasn't possible to love you any more than I already did...

  • 136. Curious said:

How come my computer shows that 1st comment was posted at like 3 in the nite? I am in central time zone. Can dooce set the settings so that comments open at 3 in the nite although she might have posted earlier or does it have to do with screwed time clocks of the computer? Just curious.

  • 137. Bucky Four-Eyes said:

See that? not 'I want' but 'I have to.'

I am sooo hooked...and in love w/ Leta. After nearly 2 weeks of Leta-withdrawl, ahhhh...the newsletter arrives, absolutely steeped in love and cuteness.

  • 154. La Pixiatrix said:

I love the letter to Leta.

The last lines were so powerful "And while this thrills me, makes my heart sing bass lines and soar with pride that you are your own soul, I can’t help but start to think, my God, slow down. Don’t go so fast. Stay."

That feeling, I can imagine it so well. I don't have kids and that feeling of losing someone is so scary. My good friend says you fall in love so many times over with your kids, each iteration of the same kid at different stages, that you have to say goodbye all the time. And that sometimes you feel sad. But at the same time so proud and filled with excitement and hope for what they will become and do in their lives.

I'm not sure my heart could take it all. But I will cheer others on.

Go Dooce and John and Leta

I'm 6'1" and get most of my pants at JCrew--35" inseams! Also, GAP has great longs and you can order extra-longs online.

  • 159. CanadianAmy said:

I am 5'2" but I am only a head with legs, no torso, so I have to shop at Tall Girl. IT's weird, zipping up your pants under your neck and going out, and sometimes I get uncomfortably close to the toilet seat, but oh well.

  • 160. greenthumb said:

Canadian Amy, good one!!! my brother and I are the same height (6'4") and he has 32" inseam and I have a 35" inseam...he's all torso.

Well Greenthumb, we could go out and we could pretend that I am your little daughter.

I always have tall friends. They stick up for me pretty good.

  • 162. Katie-be-bored-at-work said:

Old Navy does have some nice tall girl jeans, as does Abercrombie. But yes, Abercrombie is exorbitantly priced, so I usually stick to the Gap and Old Navy. It used to be hard for me when I was a size zero to find anything my size that was long enough, but nowadays they make really small sizes really long because they realize that not all tall chicks are not fat. I used to find jeans that were long enough but were like a size 20. I am a size 4 now and sometimes my jeans are too long! Damn, I am almost 6 feet tall!!!

  • 163. G-dawg said:

It takes me a long time to find jeans that fit me right and are long enough. When I do find the "perfect" jeans, I wear them until they're holey or until giving birth to two kids in two years forces me into a newer size.

I try to stick to Levi's or Lee's because I can get those at a favorite store nearby and don't have to trek to the mall to replace them.

Why is it that a size 6 long is LONGER than a size 8 long?
Seriously, I love the length of the 6, but I really like having the ability to breathe and sit down with the 8.

    AND ANOTHER THING!
Why is it when I *do* find a pair of jeans I like, and I have the "model number" (Levi's 512), I can't just go back and get those at the store in a new size? Why do the "jean making people" have to get all funky with the style an shit? I do not want the back pockets on the backs of my thighs, nor do I want to show off whatever color/type/lack of underwear I chose for that day!

I JUST WANT A PAIR OF JEANS THAT ARE JUST LIKE THE JEANS I HAVE NOW, BUT ARE A LITTLE BIT BIGGER BECAUSE I CAN'T WEAR MY FAVORITES ANYMORE BECAUSE THE LITTLE CLOWNS GAVE ME "MOM BUTT"!!!

Oh. Oh my. I'm so sorry. Excuse me, will you please...?

  • 181. Katie-be-bored-at-work said:

I am one of those skinny bitches. I am sorry greenthumb. And I seriously don't know who they are designing their clothing for, because when jeans are long on me, I don't know who the shit they are making them for. Am very curious to know what kind of clothing trauma you suffered as a child: I remember some kind of animal thing with coded tags - GRRRAnimals? What was that shit? I was a string-bean-y long haired, skinned-kneed thing that wore these Danskin pants and striped OP-type tops and none of the other little girls dressed like that - or talked to me. But then again they couldn't climb trees like I could, either!

I have some pictures of me in these really nifty bellbottom plaid pants - hand me downs from my big sisters. I guess they were cute in the mid seventies, but early eighties, no way! As a kid, I remember loving anything day-glo. I would wear day-glo green shorts, day-glo pink shirts, and I had this thing for wearing more than one pair of socks at a time. I think that was a Punky Brewster thing. I would layer day-glo socks and french cuff my jeans. Looking back at it, I can't understand how we thought that looked good.

ckgreenjeans I feel your pain. Although I am a short 5'8 I was always a size 3 but you have two 10 lb kids and well...I got back down to a 4 but the winter chubb has taken over my middle section. I called it a loss as I dragged my fat ass from the junior jeans to the "misses jeans" it was a sad day. But I found the perfect jeans. Lee one true fit. Bonus they run big you can pull off a 6 when your an 8. They have them at Sears of all places that I swore I would only step into the day I tinted my hair blue. So next time you need a power tool check out the jeans to. One stop shopping. They have a straight leg not belled, and they are a normal tint. And your ass doesn't hang out when you sit down.

I actually recently found jeans at Sears, too. They had this huge sale on jeans and I got three pair for $5.00 each! I was so proud of myself. And they fit really well and are definitely long enough for me. I was pissed when I got home and the one size 5 that I got seemed to be smaller than the rest and I have to squeeze my ass into them. But hey for $5.00 you can't complain.

  • 223. Katie-be-bored-at-work said:

JP, I had numerous pair of acid wash jeans, except mine were always too short for me because clothesmakers didn't seem to know back then that there are skinny nine year olds that are 5 feet tall. I used to get made fun of mercilessly for wearing "highwaters". Kids can truly be little bastards. Anyway, acid wash was one of my favorites. And then in the nineties, you had to have holes in the knees. You were totally uncool if you didn't have holey knees.

Oh Plum and others I feel your pain. I went to schools most of my life where the kids where very wealthy. Roots, Beaver Canoe, Ocean Pacific where the brands of choice for them. I, on the other hand, walked the 'byway', 'woolco' and 'kresge' runway with corduroy and puke coloured shirts with collars that could stab your eye out. Those were canadian discount store chains that got wiped out by Walmart when they opened up shop up here in the early 90's. Oh lord the itchy wool\polyester sweaters I wore. Anyone remember 'Bullets' and 'Sparx' running shoes? The ones with the velcro straps instead of laces? I was the poster boy for that crap. "Well they aren't nice friends if they laugh at you" said mother dearest. Gee ya think?!! Got my first job at 13 and started dressing human from that point onwards. I put a swift end to that lunacy once I had my own money I tell ya.

My truly favorite jeans are a misses size 9 long. I haven't found a misses size 11 to try on (not that they would fit anyway) that doesn't have a huge flare, or rides so low, I might need to find my Mork suspenders to maintain some semblance of dignity.

I will certainly check Sears out.
