Aww I love it now that her hair is so long. And my Mom dressed me in sweater vests and jumpers and it didn't affect me permanently. Mathcing outfits on babies is cute, stop when she hit puberty.
She is such a cutie, and looks so much like Jon in that picture.
My second daughter was a thumb-sucker, and I got so tired of people saying, "Is that good?" to her, that I finally started making a habit of replying to them, "If you were as sweet as she is, you'd have your hand in your mouth, too!"

I listened to Heather at work too, streamed online, but I was actually working (really!) while I listened.
You did sound good - I was expecting a much thicker Tenn. accent after all you've said about it. Guess living in other parts of the country really does help to tone down country accents. Thank god.
I listened at work, with my boss, so I shouldn't get dooced for it. Interestingly enough, I work for a lawyer, who is now trying to figure out what the legal grounds could be.
Heather didn't sound at all like I would have thought.
You ROCK, Heather. That was a great interview! But for some reason, the whole show's audio was slowed down, like voice altering done for witness protection. So everrrrythnnnng wass slooooooooow and lowwwwww.
God, I feel like such a stalker, but I just have to say...I love your website, I love your NPR radio interview, and the first website I visit every day is yours.

Right on. I live in Kentucky, so I know exactly what you mean. However, most of the young adults raised in Lexington (early to mid-20s), the city I live in, sound more like Heather than Colonel Sanders. Just an oh-so-slight Southern accent, but people used to it can tell.
Come to think of it, Heather and I sound eerily similar. Yoinks.
