Two Chucks? In one day?
You've just made my day, Heather!
If the Chuck-a-Day addition is just a preview of things to come, I can't wait to see the other changes you have in store for us!

Sometimes Chuck looks fake. Like a stuffed dog. In fact, for a while (when I first started reading your site) I thought he might be fake. Although I've come to realized that he is indeed very much alive, pictures like this one remind me of when I thought you might have several taxedermied dogs in diffrent poses scattered through out your house.
This is so not about the picture, which is very cute by the way. My husband is a web designer and was at a seminar all week and they talked about....YOU. He came home and was like, have you ever read "dooce?" I was like, um yes, she's like the most popular blogger ever. And he said, I just spent a day learning about her and her site and how she gained popularity.
I like to read this blog because you are a good writer. Chuck is cute, but millions of photos of him are boring. Just my opinion. I don't expect you to care.
Thank you for your pictures of Chuck. Not only do I enjoy them, they actually enable me to catch up on your blog now and then. This is because my 1 1/2 year old, often on my lap at the computer, can look at the pictures and excitedly yell "DOG" whenever she sees them, which holds her attention long enough for me to read what you've written! Sometimes I have to scroll up and down during the parts with no pictures to keep her interested. She likes pictures of Leta too, but they are not quite as good. I'm sure you understand.

Congrats on the new house! I hope you love it!

You are so cool you are being taught!

I like to read this blog because you are a good writer. Chuck is cute, but millions of photos of him are boring. Just my opinion. I don't expect you to care.

Beautiful shot, he totally looks like he's talking to you :-) Such a cute snouth, cute teeth, cute everything!

re: maarmie
If you don't like the Chuck shots, don't look at them. You like the writing, read the writing. Simple as that. Jeez.

Heehee In this photo he reminds me of Rowdy from Scrubs. :D
Or one of those freeze-frames at the end of eighties sitcoms, where the whole cast freezes in a laugh at the final amusing one-liner that wrapped everything up for the week.

I think his eyes are the cutest! They're always so big and curious.
Congrats on the new house!

Oh, Chuck! You are so wonderful! And no worries, even though Heather will never stop taking apart her sandwiches before she eats them, it hasn't ruined the sanctity of sandwiches for the rest of the world yet...
Because I'm pretty sure that's what his concern is over. The sanctity of sandwiches.
Congrats on the new house! I hope you love it!
