I feel the same way.

I think Chuck is the 3rd coolest dog (but most photogenic) ever and I'm glad you're showing his picture every day! I just wish my 2 cooler dogs were half as photogenic as Chuck.

Thanks for making me laugh these past few years.

There are happy, happy children at my house, knowing that there will be a new Chuck to see every day.

Bring on the daily Chuck! We love it... especially when Chuck decides to take a huge crap and you decide to share it with us. ;)

You know, from that angle, I can totally see the former congressman in him. He looks quite politician-y in that shot.

Chuck is just telling it like it is. He's probably voicing his concern about the new house and that it has sufficient places for him to hide his toys and that he needs to do a full security check for squirrels prior to inhabiting the property. You keep those Armstrong's in line Chuck!

I thought he was telling Heather that he was concerned that there wouldn't be enough room to store his volumes of observations of grass and leaves and how they smell, feel, and taste, or that she would forget his quiet nook where he goes to write poetry.

1) No one's forcing you to come to this website!

2) There is NEVER, could never be, too much Chuck. Just couldn't happen. Impossible.

And I say this as someone who loves her own dog more than anything, perhaps to the point of absurdity.

Perhaps he was thinking the new guest bedroom was going to be his new lair. Instead of hanging out in the dark in the basement being emo, he was finally going to have a place to put up his black light posters and other assorted tapestries.

Sometimes Chuck looks fake. Like a stuffed dog. In fact, for a while (when I first started reading your site) I thought he might be fake. Although I've come to realized that he is indeed very much alive, pictures like this one remind me of when I thought you might have several taxedermied dogs in diffrent poses scattered through out your house.

This is so not about the picture, which is very cute by the way. My husband is a web designer and was at a seminar all week and they talked about....YOU. He came home and was like, have you ever read "dooce?" I was like, um yes, she's like the most popular blogger ever. And he said, I just spent a day learning about her and her site and how she gained popularity.
